We’re Just Getting Started
Pull up a chair, order a drink, and experience the magic for yourself. When you
walkthrough our doors - whether as a guest or as an employee of MHG,
you’re going to have a great f*@king time!
Our Roots
Our story begins years before we served our first fire-roasted seafood tower, wagyu steak or presented anyone with a coveted customized celebration menu. In 1995, Jim Lasky opened The Hunt Club, a bar and grill that became a staple of the Gold Coast with its famous stuffed burgers, generously sized dance floor, and reputation for being the epicenter of fun. After 18 years in business, The Hunt Club closed its doors to make way for Maple & Ash.
Rising from the ashes of The Hunt Club, a new era dawned when Jim Lasky and Chef Danny Grant joined forces. Together, they created the first gem in the Maple Hospitality Group portfolio: Maple & Ash Chicago, which opened its doors in 2015.
With a singular vision to redefine luxury dining, Maple & Ash shattered the conventions of the traditional steakhouse. We stand as the architects of unforgettable experiences, building on the rich legacy of our beginnings to fuel our fire.
Maple & Ash is more than a restaurant; it is a testament to the timeless art of dining, where every meal becomes a celebration.
We are constantly developing new brands to add to our ever-evolving portfolio. Our journey has taken us west, where we now have two properties in Dallas: Kessaku, our sushi and sake bar featuring sweeping views of the city and Monarch, our contemporary yet rustic Italian restaurant.
Our Values
Memorable MomentsWe value creating moments for our guests and feel honored when they choose us to be an integral part of their special moment. We believe in celebrating everything - from new jobs to engagements to new cities to nice weather, and everything in between. | Highest QualityWe aim to have quality all around us - from our ingredients to our team, we know that the products we produce are only as great as what goes into them. | The Little ThingsWe believe that beauty lies in the details and that there is nothing more important than paying attention to all of the small details. Pixels make up a picture and details are what separate us from the pack and make us who we are. |
